A dental crown is used when a tooth is broken or decayed to such an extent that fillings aren’t able to repair the problem. The crown or “cap” is able to provide covering around the damaged or decayed tooth to strengthen it. Crowns can also be used to cosmetically change the appearance of your smile. The most common types of crown is porcelain and gold.

A dental bridge is a false tooth that fills in a gap between two teeth. It is anchored by the adjourning teeth and can fill the space of one or more missing teeth. A bridge is used to prevent shifting teeth, which can affect the nature of your bite.

Veeners are similar to a filling, but are typically used in cosmetic dentistry to improve the look of your teeth and smile.
